So, according to Josh, the horn should be ready TOMORROW!!!
He's rebuilding the rotor bearings (he said they just fell out), did some reinforcing, machined the bell cuff ... among other things.
It's also no longer green! Yes, the horn was almost green.
He says it's better than he even expected. I'm hoping it's the answer to all of my prayers! I know, I know ... I'm setting my expectations pretty darned high.
I'll pick it up tomorrow during the middle of the day. I won't be able to begin shaking it down until Thursday morning.
Squeeee!!!
